Global Gifters represent the Global Gift Foundation worldwide. They create social awareness and connect the mission of the Foundation within its network of contacts, selflessly offering their time and cooperation for the various initiatives of the foundation.
They are personalities who through their lives, careers and public appearances have become recognized and are a real source of inspiration. They do not receive any financial remuneration for their support of the Global Gift Foundation.
By contributing, Global Gifters strengthen society’s involvement in the causes of Global Gift Foundation (children, women, health and social assistance). They are involved in communication activities, awareness and mobilization of resources, as well as making direct donations.
Within this group of ambassadors we count on the support of global philanthropists, actors and sportsmen, as well known as David Beckham; Ricky Martin; Amaury Nolasco; Vicente del Bosque; Victoria Beckham; Lara Fabian; Nikos Aliagas; Manolo Santana; Jordi Molla; Pitbull; Jane Fonda; Maxwell; Terrence Howard and Shemar Moore, among others.
Together they form part of a supportive ecosystem that allows projects of the Global Gift Foundation become a reality worldwide.
The Eva Longoria Foundation helps Latinas build better lives for themselves and their families through education and entrepreneurship future.
Eva is also a national spokesperson for PADRES Contra El Cancer (Parents Against Cancer) (www.iamhope.com), a non-profit dedicated to improving the quality of life for Latino children with cancer and their families. Eva is also co-founder of the non-profit “Eva’s Heroes” (www.EvasHeroes.org), an organization dedicated to enriching the lives of people with developmental disabilities, providing an inclusive environment built on four principles: interact, grow, learn and love. Eva also co-founded, “Launched” and participated in the first auction of celebrity tweets in Twitter called “TwitChange” in which celebrities auctioned “tweets” and “mentions” for earthquake victims in Haiti.
Eva Longoria is working closely with the United Farm Workers; The Mexico American Legal Defense and Education Fund; Dolores Huerta Foundation, and the National Council of La Raza, to name a few. She was also recently selected by President Obama as curator of the National Museum of the American Latino Commission. The National Museum will create a proper environment for the historical artifacts, images and personal stories documenting over 500 years of contributions of American Latinos to the United States. Eva Longoria was also named personally by the president as National Co-Chairman of the re-election campaign of current President Obama.
