Harmony House is an NGO founded in 2009 dedicated to rescuing homeless children in Gurgaon (India).
Its main objective is to intervene and cover the needs of homeless children taking care of all important aspects: education, nutrition, health, health centers and future employability.
In order to meet these objectives, the organization has two community centers open all day to attend, not only homeless children, but also women at risk. They offer education, food, medicines, hygiene services and social services to these vulnerable groups.
Thanks to Harmony House, children who come to the center can enjoy a safe, fun, educational and loving place to spend time, away from the hostile environment of the neighborhoods where they are.
Many mothers of the children who attend the Harmony House center are offered work so that they can spend time with their children and at the same time have a job that provides them with some income. These jobs range from the care of children or kitchen and maintenance staff.
The Global Gift Foundation has been supporting these centers since 2017 so that the centers can continue to provide the assistance that the children of the community need.
