The Children for Peace
The Children for Peace (ONLUS) is an Italian NGO founded with the express purpose of helping children around the world who are in high need situations for survival. The intention is to pursue every possible avenue to provide help and support to enable them the best possible chance for a better future.
The Global Gift Foundation grant has been allocated to several international projects (Africa, America, Asia): Improvement to the Atetegeb Worku orphanage where orphaned children live with HIV AIDS; Enlargement of New Askar camp in Nablus; A teaching program that instructs 800 children in care in Palestine; Medical and educational services for the indigenous tribe Waunana southern Chocó, which was on the brink of extinction by war and economic conflicts; Early childhood education program in the village of Sama (Dogan) in Mali assisted by Mujeres Solidarias de España; sending of funds through Marma Foundation for Syrian refugees camp named Olive Tree between Turkey and Syria.
