In 2018, Maria Bravo, founder of the Global Gift Foundation, raised funds for Sarah Almagro Vallejo, a young woman from Marbella whose limbs had to be amputated after suffering sepsis caused by meningococcal meningitis.
Sarah, after saving her life, the most urgent thing of vital importance was to have prostheses that would help her walk and function on her own, so that her life would return to being as normal as possible, similar to the life she had before.
Maria Bravo mobilized the philanthropists of Marbella and Dubai, raising funds that helped in the purchase of the prostheses that she currently has.
