The Global Gift Gala, Marbella, a Celebration of Philanthropy with Maria Bravo, Eva Longoria, and Notable Supporters Including Zazou Belounis and Utopia Avatars.
The Global Gift Gala, celebrating its eleventh anniversary, was recently presented by Maria Bravo in Marbella. Esteemed guests such as Zazou Belounis, main sponsor of the gala and CEO of Casanis Group, Mª Ángeles Muñoz, the mayoress of Marbella, and Isabel Cintado, Councilor for Social Rights, were in attendance. The highly anticipated charity event, set to take place on July 23 at the Hotel Don Pepe Gran Meliá, will once again be supported by Eva Longoria, renowned Hollywood actress, director, and activist, as well as other renowned artists who are set to surprise the audience.
The Global Gift Gala also enjoys the valuable partnership of Utopia Avatars, a project committed to building an ethical world that bridges Web3 and reality, where corporate social responsibility and philanthropy are prioritized, and businesses are owned by the community under the hashtag #GiveBackForWhatisGiven.
The Welcome dinner, a beloved tradition, will be hosted at the Mamzel restaurant at Finca Besaya on July 22. Guests will have the opportunity to experience the exceptional cuisine of Executive Chef and Co-owner of Casanis Group, Fabián Cangas, and the brand-new dinner show concept, in a sophisticated environment that epitomizes the finest of Marbella’s social scene.
During the gala, which is presented by Nota Blu New Brasserie and Mamzel at Finca Besaya, Maria Bravo praised Zazou Belounis, owner of Mamzel restaurant, for his unwavering commitment to corporate social responsibility. Belounis has implemented a “Marketing with a Cause” initiative in his establishments, giving diners the opportunity to make a donation of 1 euro or more to benefit Casa Ángeles, a day center for children and young people with special needs established by Maria Bravo in Marbella with the support of the Town Hall.
Zazou Belounis, with years of experience in football, has gained valuable insights that he applies to the world of catering. For him, “leadership and empathy” are fundamental qualities that he has honed over the years. Despite competition, after two decades of work, Belounis is not overly concerned. His focus is on providing opportunities to those in need and offering unique dining experiences to his patrons. “We strive to do everything with love, so that our clients receive the same and leave with lasting memories,” he says.
María Bravo, in her statement, expressed admiration for Zazou Belounis as an entrepreneur with both a visionary mindset and a compassionate heart. She praised his unwavering commitment to corporate social responsibility and his dedication to the well-being of children at Casa Ángeles. Belounis, in his response, expressed gratitude to María for helping him grow as a person and shared that he wakes up every morning not only thinking about his responsibilities towards his 400 employees, but also towards the children of Casa Ángeles, which brings him immense happiness.
The Hotel Don Pepe Gran Meliá, which has been a sponsor of the event for the past 11 years, was described as redefining the concept of exclusivity and enjoying an unbeatable location on the Costa del Sol. The General Manager of the Hotel Don Pepe, Rocío Galán, expressed that Global Gift means family to them, and the gala is a significant day where all participants contribute altruistically and with heartfelt dedication. She also mentioned that a Global Gift gala is inseparable from the Hotel Don Pepe, and every year the expectations are high, but love and dedication make it a success.
The Spanish Luxury Society, Luxury Spain, will be part of the gala for another year, promoting products, brands, and services that represent excellence, and acting as a reference lobby for the luxury industry in Spain.
María Bravo expressed gratitude towards Marbella Town Hall, represented by Mayoress Maria Angeles Muñoz, Hotel Don Pepefor their 11 years of support, and Zazou Belounis for his trust and generosity.
Isabel Cintado, on behalf of the city council, recognized and thanked María Bravo for her efforts and work in contributing to a more supportive, egalitarian, balanced, and just society through programs like the Global Gift Gala and the opening of Casa Ángeles.
The menu for this year’s event, as confirmed by Chef Victor Carracedo of the Hotel Don Pepe, will be revealed as all the details are finalized.
