Through the signing of two agreements involving the use of Casa Ángeles facilities and joint activities, they strengthen social fabric and promote a culture of respect, collaboration, and mutual enrichment.
Marbella, May 9, 2024: This morning, entrepreneur and philanthropist María Bravo, founder of Casa Ángeles and the Global Gift Foundation, signed two collaboration agreements with local entities to promote intergenerational and inclusive activities in the area.
The first agreement is established with the DomusVi Azalea senior center and the San Pedro Volleyball Sports Club, marking a milestone in a cooperation that began in August 2023 to promote intergenerational integration and inclusion through sports. Since then, both entities have tirelessly worked to develop an intergenerational project that was joined by the San Pedro Volleyball Sports Club, facilitating enriching experiences where older adults and young users of Casa Ángeles come together in cognitive, sports, and recreational activities. This agreement represents a continued commitment to an innovative project that fosters companionship and promotes physical and emotional well-being for all participants.
The second agreement has been signed with the Marbella Juega Sports Club, an adapted basketball club dedicated to individuals with functional diversity and open to anyone interested in sports. This collaboration will create synergies with the VUELA Project, an initiative for care and promotion of autonomy for young people with intellectual disabilities. Since many VUELA participants are active members of Marbella Juega Club, this agreement promises to further strengthen community ties and expand sports and inclusive opportunities in the region.
Both agreements reflect Casa Ángeles and the Global Gift Foundation’s commitment to inclusion, diversity, and community well-being. These activities not only foster integration and exchange of experiences between generations but also promote the physical and emotional well-being of all participants. This collaboration has proven to be an enriching experience where learning and fun are combined in an inclusive environment.
