2024
Maria Bravo Special REM Award
María Bravo has been awarded the Special REM Award (Network of Businesswomen of Marbella-Campo de Gibraltar) in an emotional ceremony held on Friday, July 12, at the Hotel Occidental Puerto Banús. This prestigious award was given to her “in recognition of her outstanding work at the Global Gift Foundation, especially at Casa Ángeles, and for her remarkable resilience, making her a female role model both nationally and internationally,” stated REM president Isabel Carrasco in a letter addressed to María.
The REM Board of Directors, in their meeting last May, decided to award this prize to María Bravo, highlighting her career and her positive impact on society, following in the footsteps of previous awardees such as Gloria Lomana, Ainhoa Arteta, and Irene Villa.
María Bravo expressed her deep gratitude and dedicated the award to all the people who have supported her work at the Global Gift Foundation. Her inspiring speech emphasized the importance of solidarity and commitment to social causes, reaffirming her dedication to continue working to improve the lives of the children and young people at Casa Ángeles. María also underscored the relevance of supporting other women and promoting female empowerment, highlighting that “together we can achieve significant goals and gradually transform society.”
Title of Honorable Ambassador of Singular Art, for exceptional commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in the world of art, sports, and health.
The Córdoba Visitor Reception Center was the setting for the inaugural event of the Singular Art Association, an initiative that marks the beginning of a new era in art, culture, sports, and health. The event, in collaboration with IMDEEC, was led by renowned entrepreneur and philanthropist María Bravo, co-founder of the Global Gift Foundation and creator of Casa Ángeles.
Casa Ángeles is a day center for children and young people with special needs located in Marbella. Founded by María Bravo, its main objective is to improve the quality of life of these children through therapies, workshops, and leisure programs designed to foster social inclusion. The center features modern facilities and highly trained staff to provide a safe and stimulating environment.
María Bravo has been a key figure in improving the lives of these children and their families. Her commitment and dedication to humanitarian causes have earned her the Title of Honorable Ambassador of Singular Art, for exceptional commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in the world of art, sports, and health.
Maria Bravo said, “It is a great honor to receive the title of ‘Honorable Ambassador of Singular Art.’ This recognition not only celebrates my work but also the collective effort of all those who work tirelessly for diversity and inclusion in the world of art, sports, and health. My gratitude to the Singular Art Association and particularly to Manuel Gutiérrez, José Gutiérrez, and Alina Peralta, for this valuable initiative.”
2023
Maria Bravo awarded by the Malaga Provincial Council
The Malaga Provincial Council held an awards ceremony to honor the social organizations that received subsidies from the council. Maria Bravo, an entrepreneur and philanthropist who founded the Global Gift Foundation and Casa Angeles, received an award on behalf of her organization. With the subsidy provided by the Malaga Provincial Council, the Global Gift Foundation will be able to cover the pool at Casa Angeles, a day center for children with special needs, so that they can continue their therapies during the winter season.
“I am honored to receive this award. Being a subsidized charity is a great opportunity to create a positive impact on society. Thanks to the Malaga Provincial Council, we will be able to meet the needs of our children, even during the winter season by covering the pool so that they can continue their therapies,” said Maria Bravo.
Marbella Town Hall recognizes the life and professional career of Maria Bravo, who represent the best values of our society
On March 4th, Marbella Town Hall honored Maria Bravo and fourteen other women for their exemplary lives and professional careers, recognizing them as representatives of the best values of our society. The recognition was part of the International Women’s Day celebration program and was held at the Adolfo Suárez Conference Center, with the presence of Isabel Cintado, Councilor for Equality.
Upon receiving her recognition plaque, Maria Bravo expressed her gratitude and dedicated the honor to her mother, Angeles Bravo, who instilled in her the belief that she could achieve anything she set her mind to. Maria emphasized the importance of women empowerment and the vital role women play in moving the world forward with their passion. She also thanked Isabel Cintado for the honor and the support she has given to Global Gift.

PLAZA MARIA BRAVO at The City of Estepona
The Estepona City Council recognized as a Life time achievement award the philanthropic and personal career of Maria Bravo by giving her name to a square, located between Goya and El Cid streets, near where Maria lived as a child.
With this recognition they wanted to value the solidarity facet of María Bravo and her link with the Costa del Sol and, specifically, with Estepona. Maria bravo in the presence of the mayor, José María García Urbano, unveiled the street sign on her honor “PLAZA MARIA BRAVO”.
Honoured with the UAE Golden Visa
After leading the 100 Million Meals on 2021 under Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), the ‘100 Million Meals’ campaign was launched to provide food parcels for families and people in need across 20 countries during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
She has been honored with the Golden Visa after bringing the annual campaign on a new level, involving her celebrity friends to promote the campaign worldwide and giving global awareness.
Award «Liderazgo Solidario 2021» New York Summit
The New York Summit awarded Maria Bravo with the Solidarity Leadership 2021 awarded for her philanthropreneur work with Global Gift Foundation. The Inspiring Committed Leaders Foundation, had the pleasure of presenting the “Solidarity Leadership 2021” award to the actress, businesswoman and founder of the Global Gift Foundation, María Bravo, in thewords of its president, Ray Cazorla:
“For his leadership, passion and commitment, because he inspires thousands of people through the great solidarity and professional work he does, for contributing a grain of sand to society through this humanitarian and philanthropic aid that changes the lives of women, children and families in need.

The Marbella business association, CIT, handed its most significant award, the “Luis Cierco Special Award” for promoting the Marbella brand around the world, to Maria Bravo in recognition of the work she does through The Global Gift Gala.
“Radio Radio Network” Awards Maria Bravo As Philanthropits Of The Year
Radio Radio Network presents their award dedicated to the “Philanthropist of the Year” to Maria Bravo.
We are One Gala
Michel Issa, founder of one of the most important philanthropic galas in Europe, the “We Are One Gala”, handed Maria Bravo an award at the We Are One Gala, in recognition of her philanthropic work through the Foundation.
The award was presented to Maria during the gala celebration at the Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden on the 31st January. The delivery was accompanied by a surprise video of the actress and activist Eva Longoria, where the actress praised the work of Maria as Founder and CEO of Global Gift Foundation.

III Corazón Solidario
Awards
Global Gift Foundation received an award from Corazon magazine on behalf of jewellry brand Folli Follie. Every year, several NGO´s receive a donation for their dedication and help to society.
Five foundations were recognized for their different achievements – Child Welfare, Third World, Animal Welfare, Woman Rights and Social Action which was awarded to Global Gift Foundation.

Councilor for Tourism of the City of Marbella, José Luís Hernández and the president of the One2one MK & Events company, give María Bravo the yearly award dedicated to philanthropy in recognition of The Global Gift Gala as Best Event of the Year.
The Children For Peace ONLUS awards Maria Bravo for her Philanthropic work

Recognition from City Council of Marbella
The City Council of Marbella and Mayor, Mª Ángeles Muñoz, acknowledged Maria Bravo´s philanthropic trajectory exercised the last few years both on a national and international level during the celebration of The Global Gift Gala, Marbella 2014. The Mayor gave a commemorative plaque on behalf of the whole city and showed her personal gratitude.
