July 5th 2015, Marbella. Last night, La Soirée, was the welcoming gipsy party arranged by Global Gift Foundation community. It was the meeting point for all the members of the philantrophic community all over the world, with María Bravo and Alina Peralta hosting, as well as celebrities like Eva Longoria, honorary chair, Amaury Nolasco, Eva La Rue (designed by Karen Millen), Caterina López, JJ Hambletts couple, Descember Bueno, Fabiola Martínez and Bertin Osborne´s daughters; Alejandra and Claudia Osborne.
Coinciding with the 30th anniversary of the notorious Babilonia by Olivia Valère, the restaurant’s backyard was the perfect scenary for dinner and spectacle in an intimate atmosphere where guests enjoyed the performance of ‘El Carpeta’ flamenco dancer, and ‘Reyes Heritage’ band. This gipsy party tried to join the international guests with local traditions from Marbella.
The Foundation founders, María Bravo and Alina Peralta, repeated their greetings to all the guests who made possible this forth edition of The Global Gift Gala which will be celebrated this Sunday at the Gran Meliá Don Pepe Hotel. Among others, Olivia Valère came with her husband, Philipe Valère and her son Arnauld and daughter Karen.
The first performance in this lovely night was by Manuel Fernández Montoya, ‘El Carpeta’. He belongs to one of the biggest gipsy and flamenco dancers generation and broadcasted his pure race and enormous flamenco dancing knowledge.
By the other side, Reyes Heritage broadcasted their straight heritage of a musical culture of the gipsy art around the world. George Reyes, Gipsy Kings leaders son of Nicolás Reyes, joined among his family the musical passion that involves himself as well as La Soirée guests.
La Soirée is part of the Philantrophic Weekends news and will turn into a future events for the following Global Gift Galas, starting here in Marbella. The other capitals which will host The Global Gift Gala: Paris, London, Dubai, Mexico and Los Angeles. It is a welcoming dinner where guests will be able to meet the local culture among big artists.
