The presentation took place on November 17, during the Global Citizen Forum, at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel Convention Center in Ras Al Khaimah, where María Bravo, Deepak Chopra and Alejandro Saez, CEO and co-founder of Utopia Avatars, held his presentation on the topic Human Metamorphosis.
The Global Citizen Forum offered an immersive Summit, the first of its kind, in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, with the aim of ushering in a collective cultural evolution for a more inclusive world. Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the UAE Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, and in association with the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority. The Global Citizen Forum welcomed speakers and guests from 90 countries.
The Global Citizen Forum Annual Summit 2022 brought together a diverse group of attendees for its first chapter of The Butterfly Effect trilogy in Ras Al Khaimah, under the theme Human Metamorphosis, which recognizes the paradigm shift of a new era illuminated by evolution individual and cultural.
Human interconnectedness, community and personal development were the overarching messages of the action-packed two days as attendees came together to embark on a journey of self-discovery to collaboratively address global issues through the lens of global citizenship, with the support of event sponsor Utopia Avatars.

Armand Arton, founder of the Global Citizen Forum, commented on the importance of the topic in his opening remarks on the first day of the Summit, sharing: “Many of us here have taken great journeys, both literally and metaphorically. We’ve been around the globe many times to get to where we are and have helped bring this group of people together. Becoming a global citizen does not mean that we are citizens of nowhere, it means that we become citizens of everywhere, without forgetting where we started: this is our task, this is our purpose”.
Speakers during the two-day event called for a renewed focus on personal growth and human connection to empower humanity to succeed in our ever-changing world. Attendees participated in interactive sessions and immersive experiences led by global visionaries and change makers including Ricky Martin, Deepak Chopra, Maria Bravo, Richard Quest, Vishen Lakhiani, Karen Wazen, Chris Voss and Wyclef Jean.
They all talked about metaverses, web3 and the shift towards a reality in which we are all connected from home. Sustainability, what place does philanthropy occupy, and what can we do to make this reality an ideal place with everyone’s help. Ricky Martinand Maria Bravo embraced when they saw each other, and Ricky ended the presentation session with a short speech.
The evening’s benefit gala featured electrifying performances by Grammy Awards, Ashanti and Wyclef Jean. Attendees included Mona and Huda Kattan, co-founders of Huda Beauty, as well as Chopard Artistic Director Caroline Scheufele, among many others.
