Tumor Operation for Olga Sharipova
Global Gift Foundation donated 8,000€ to a family that needed to reach 24,000 euros to cover the cost of Olga Sharipova’s fourth operation to remove a tumor and microcystic lymphangioma of the right side of the face at the University Children’s Hospital in Switzerland.
Thanks to the contribution, the little girl could receive multiple interventions and therapies from the 5th to 19th of February, 2014 in the area of Reconstructive Plastics and Burns unit in Switzerland. First they reduced the volume of lymphangioma in the right cheek and upper lip, then they removed the stitches and finally administered co-amoxicillin intravenously.
The founders of Global Gift Foundation did not hesitate to raise and donate the amount needed when the father of Olga, Spartak Sharipo, came in December to the Global Gift Foundation for help.
“The Foundation met Little Olga during the celebration of The Global Gift Gala in Marbella in 2013. At only six years of age, she donated several works painted by herself, along with three other pieces created by her father, the painter Spartak Sharipo. The paintings were successfully auctioned and the proceeds from the auction went to benefit of Ser Humano Association, the SOS Foundation and Eva Longoria Foundation”, stated Maria Bravo.
Olga and her father showed us something else than the works donated by them. We were shown the meaning of Philanthropy.
