Marbella, June 12, 2024: This morning, the press room at the Marbella City Hall was filled with excitement during the presentation of the 12th edition of The Global Gift Gala. Among those present were the founder of Global Gift Foundation and Casa Ángeles, María Bravo; prominent figures such as Zazou Belounis, Presenting Sponsor of this edition, owner and CEO of Casanis Group; former basketball player and founder of Project 675, Berni Rodríguez; Swedish businessman Kent Björn; General Manager of Hotel Don Pepe, Rocío Galán; its Executive Chef, Víctor Carracedo; as well as the Councilor for Social Rights, Isabel Cintado, and the Mayor of Marbella, Ángeles Muñoz.
As per tradition, the pre-gala dinner will be held at the Mamzel restaurant at Finca Besaya on July 20, where the exceptional cuisine of Executive Chef and Co-Owner of Casanis Group, Fabián Cangas, along with the new concept of their spectacular dinner show, allows a select clientele to socialize, celebrate, and delight both sight and taste every night in Marbella’s most sophisticated setting.
María Bravo proudly announced that The Global Gift Gala, Marbella, presented by Mamzel at Finca Besaya and Nota Blu New Brasserie, will be held on July 21 at the prestigious Hotel Don Pepe Gran Meliá, marking its twelfth edition. Bravo mentioned that its owner, Zazou Belounis, is a prominent entrepreneur with a firm and deep-rooted belief in the importance of corporate social responsibility as a fundamental pillar in all his business activities. His continued support reinforces his commitment to social impact, measuring his success not only by business results but also by his ability to do good.
She also highlighted the constant generosity and excellence of this iconic Marbella hotel, which will once again host the event, offering a five-star menu designed to delight the most discerning palates. This renowned charity gala will bring together prominent personalities from the social and entertainment spheres.
The gala’s host will be enthepreneur and philanthropist María Bravo, and she will be joined by distinguished actress, director, and activist Eva Longoria as the guest of honor. On this special occasion, two giants of Spanish sports will be honored: former basketball players Berni Rodríguez and José Manuel Calderón, who will receive the People’s Heroes Award for their Project 675, a sports and educational program aimed at vulnerable youth in Málaga. The Swedish businessman based in Spain, Kent Björn,will be honored with the Global Gift Philanthropreneur Award for the philanthropic and business efforts of his company Love Spirit, demonstrating “The rewarding business of doing good.”

The evening will be hosted by socialite and businesswoman Vicky Martín Berrocal and the charismatic British radio and TV presenter Tom Urqhart, ensuring a night full of entertainment and excitement.
